We wanted to find out how dignity, respect, quality of life and independence was being respected and supported in the person’s care, and how ‘activity-based’ care supported people to continue to be as active and independent as possible.

- Staffing levels and staff training
Key Findings
- Glanmore was very homely
- The Home was clean and tidy in all communal areas
- Friendly and relaxed atmosphere
- Residents were well supported by staff members and management
- Staff felt well supported
- Residents were encouraged to access the local community
- Resident made the choices about their daily routines
