Summary
A visit to the Combat Stress Centre at Newport had been arranged and 2 Healthwatch Telford and Wrekin Enter & View Representatives with relevant ‘Services’ experience attended to observe the facilities with its specialist role of supporting ex-military personnel experiencing the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and talk with veterans present.
The manager advised that the model of care provided at Audley Court changed about two years ago, and has become much more focussed on recovery.
