The purpose of the visit was to ask residents about their views and experiences of the Nursing Home services.
Summary
We wanted to learn about:
- Understand how their dignity is being respected in the Nursing Home environment
- The experiences of relatives/visitors
- Observe Residents and relatives/visitors engaging with the staff and their surroundings
- Examples of good working practice
Key Findings
- Residents told us that they felt safe at St George’s Park
- Residents told us that the food was very good
- Staff told us that St George’s Park is a great place to work
- All staff observed showed great rapport with residents and responded to them appropriately
- Staff told us that they were unable to spend enough time with residents due to under staffing
