Share your views: Hospital car parking at The Princess Royal Hospital
Each month we will be asking for your views, questions and comments about different topics regarding Health and Social Care Services.
The findings from our monthly topics will be summarised and shared on our website and will include a press release.
The topics that we discuss will be based upon feedback received from the public, key contacts, and attending meetings with individuals and organisations.
What did we do?
- Asked the public for their views and comments via social media and press release
- The feedback was analysed and following this 9 key questions were produced
- The 9 key questions were discussed with the appropriate contact at SaTH
- All answers were summarised
What we found
These are a few of our findings:
- Currently, there are no immediate plans to make any changes, but parking arrangements are constantly reviewed to see if improvements can be made.
- Both sites will have signage on the Car Park Kiosks giving the relevant contact numbers and explaining what to do in the event of difficulties. (Further information can be found at: www.sath.nhs.uk/patients-visitors/getting-to-us/car-parking/
- Blue badge holders can simply find a parking space and leave the site without paying (within the six-month period).
- Providing a telephone number on appointment letters is something that will be explored.
